Munich Car Show – First Big Automobile Event in Europe

We have all been to auto shows at least once or twice in our life. We know the excitement and amazement that takes over when our eyes meet the new automobile models. The new features and technology captures our heart and compels us to buy at least one of the cars from the event. However, many factors disappointed the spectators. The latest car models were always exhibited on the expensive pavilion away from the regular spectators. There were light shows instead of other more important topics. The same old technology bored the ones who came to see the innovative stuff. This decreased the number of attendees significantly. Munich Car Show came as good news for all the car lovers.

The Frankfurt International Motor Show was the previous name of this show. After moving to Munich, its name was changed to as "I.A.A. Mobility" show. Here, I.A.A. stands for International Automobile Ausstellung.

What Makes Munich Car Show So Special?

The organizers made several adjustments in order to increase the number of attendees,. The new features actually worked and increased the number of spectators effectively. Here are some of them;

Additional Exhibits

This time, the organizers did not just stick to fancy cars. They also gave room to other modes of transportation. Hence, bicycles were also part of this car show. Three-wheeled vehicles were also a part of the exhibition. Most of them had pedals or small electric motors.

Environmentally Friendly

People are increasingly being aware and conscious of their surroundings. Global warming is slowly becoming an existential threat. Therefore, the exhibition included cars that came with new environment-friendly technology. A shift from gas engines to electric motors was quite apparent.
