Car Show: 52nd Annual MMOCC this Saturday

Mid-Mo Old Car Club (MMOCC) was founded way back in 1971 by 36 old car fans. Ever since then they have been hosting multiple car shows for car enthusiasts. They aim to unite antique and special interest cars by hosting a car show every year in a well-organized way. This club is an ideal place for any person who holds a strong interest and affection for old cars.

Annual Car Show

This Saturday is coming with a big new event. MMOCC car show is once again going to be held at this Oktoberfest. At this show, you will be able to see the Mid-Mo Old Car Club, Old car Round up, and Car Show. This year the cost of entering the show is only $20 per vehicle. There is also good news for all Class 1 and Class 2 vehicle owners and spectators. They can now enter the show Free of Cost.

Registration

To enter the show, you must register beforehand. The management will not allow unregistered people to enter the show later on. There is no need for you to actually own a car. You can just join as a spectator if that is all you want to be. You should get registered as soon as possible. There is a prize of a dash plaque, goody bag, and door for the top 100 drivers. There is a great chance that a lot of people will join the show this year. You better buckle up to be one of them.

Classes

This year, during the show, the judges will judge the car according to the stock, open, and modified classes. You can only add three modifications to your vehicle. There will also be a young adult category which will include all drivers who are equal to or less than 25 years of age.

Where Will All the Money Go?

Well, this question is likely to pop up in any participant's mind. Well, the money raised from the show will be given to young people as MMOCC's annual scholarship. The recipients of the scholarship may include people seeking a vocation in the automobile industry or those who have a great interest in cars. The recipient will receive the money at around 3 pm after the judging process.

The Judging Process

The judging will begin at 10 am. You can fill the 'talk it up sheet' with the history and unique features before that. It will help the judges in knowing about your car. The unique awards will be given to the winners of the following:

  1. Top 3: top three most impressive cars in each class.
  2. People's Choice: the one voted highest by exhibitors and spectators.
  3. Diamond in the Rough: chosen by the members of the club.
