Beware: Fake BMW Was Spotted in Birmingham

We all know about scams. Human greed has no limits. Scammers usually try to get your attention by introducing expensive products at economical prices. Whenever this happens, stop for a moment and think about why an unknown person offers you such a great deal. What's in it for him? It is not that era anymore where people just do each other huge favors without any reason. We all have our reasons. Not to mention, this intense desire to know the reason ends up giving us trust issues. However, it is not as bad as it sounds. It is not right to trust every person you meet for the first time. Whether it is a BMW or a small compact makeup set, always watch out for scams.

Watch out for Fake BMW!

On a bright day when police were on the street navigating through lanes while keeping a watchful eye for anything out of ordinary, something happened. They spotted a high-sheen green BMW M3 estate going about on Dartmouth Middleway in Birmingham. The car had a very beautiful design and the paint was remarkable. It certainly stood out among other cars on the street. however, not everything that glitters is gold. The car seemed suspicious to the policemen who stopped it to see what was bothering them. They were suspicious about its origins.

After a careful investigation, the police revealed a surprising fact. There was no existence of the estate version of the M3. The company never manufactured it. The Car was FAKE. The scammers were the ones who designed and manufactured it and used the name of BMW to sell the car. Furthermore, underneath the shiny green surface, the car was not in a good condition. Its weak and welded exterior was covered with attractive paint. The car was overall a death trap. It could malfunction and break down at any time.

Fours Cars Molded into One

The wretched car was a mixture of four other cars. It was a marvel that it was still functioning safely. The main body of the car was created using two estates. The same cars also played their part in the creation of the panoramic roof. The police traced the parts used in the making of the car. They turned out to be the parts of a stolen car. The parts belonged to two BMW M3 cars. They stole the other one from a car showroom in All Saints, Wolverhampton on 30 September 2019. The other one was from Sutton Coldfield on 20 March 2018.

Now either those scammers were also the thieves who stole these cars, or they bought them from a group of thieves. Either way, it was unfortunate that 2 well-functioning BMWs were dismantled to create a car that could break down at any time. They perhaps made a few other cars too using the same parts.

Excellent Disguise

The vehicle was tag-welded. Its structure was very unsafe. It only depended upon the paint that hid the ugliness underneath. The paint cannot save lives. The poor structure of the car could cause an awful collision. The ones who manufactured the car had great skills. They hid the faulty exterior, removed the stickers, and did an awesome job making it look like a real car.

Fortunately, the skilled car examiners were able to figure out the reality. The police captured the vehicle on time. It is a pity that faith was unfair to the car, but it shined for those who drove it. The decision of crushing the car saved the passengers from a possible unfortunate event. The vehicle met its demise at a scrapyard where it was crushed using heavy machinery. Always lookout for any cloned cars and keep your money safe. Such sellers do not offer any insurance and never give you money back.
